Professor Mike Niman has published a chapter on nonviolence in a new book, Nonkilling Societies, published in Hawaii by the Center for Global Nonkilling.
His chapter, "You Can't Be Nonviolent Without Violence," focuses on the Rainbow Family utopian community. The chapter explores how a group committed to nonviolent conflict resolution handles violence directed upon it from outside as well as violent actions by members. Read the PDF link.
